Concordia Seminary to Host 'Making Abortion Unthinkable' Workshop
Concordia Seminary will offer a workshop titled “Making Abortion Unthinkable” on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, to be held on the Seminary campus. The workshop will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 2:30 p.m.
“Making Abortion Unthinkable” will be led and moderated by Dr. Jeffrey Gibbs, professor of exegetical theology at Concordia Seminary. Using video-based presentations as well as discussion segments, Dr. Gibbs will explore the question of abortion with regard to clear, focused apologetics and human reason at its best. Adults and older teens are welcome. The workshop will strengthen and clarify understanding for those who attend, as well as equip them to speak winsomely, even to non-Christians, on behalf of the unborn. Each participant will receive a helpful manual of materials.
Pre-registration by Jan. 20 is required. The registration cost for “Making Abortion Unthinkable” is $12 and includes lunch and materials.
