Seminary’s ‘Making Abortion Unthinkable’ workshop set for Jan. 30
Concordia Seminary, St. Louis will offer a one-day workshop “Making Abortion Unthinkable” with Dr. Jeffrey Gibbs, professor of exegetical theology at the Seminary, Saturday, Jan. 30.
This workshop will equip participants to speak more effectively on behalf of the unborn.
“This learning experience offers calm, reasonable and compelling ways to think and speak, even with non-Christians, the truth about abortion,” Gibbs said. “Participants will come away with clear heads and deeper understanding based on basic science and moral reasoning. In an increasingly angry culture, this kind of calm and reasonable thinking is more important than ever before.”
The workshop will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Jan. 30 in Sieck Hall 202 on the Seminary campus, 801 Seminary Place, Clayton, Mo.
Registration is free to students and spouses and $20 for all others. Registration includes a manual and lunch. The registration deadline is Jan. 22.
