Meyer to serve Advancement
In an email to the Seminary community July 7, Interim President Dr. Daniel Preus said, “In thanksgiving to God for the long and faithful service of Dr. Dale A. Meyer, the Seminary Board of Regents bestowed on him the title of President Emeritus. In addition, the Board recognized Dr. Meyer’s deep understanding of the culture and life of Concordia Seminary and asked him if he would be willing to assist the Seminary during the next year primarily in the area of Seminary Advancement. Dr. Meyer indicated he would be happy to help in this way. Over the years, to a great degree, Dr. Meyer has become the face of Concordia Seminary. He will be a tremendous asset to the Seminary as he provides assistance in the area of advancement.
“I know you will join me in looking forward to seeing Dr. Meyer both around campus and around the church as we continue to advance the mission of Concordia Seminary.”
