Seminary celebrates 15 faculty, staff for significant anniversary milestones

200 combined years of service

The Concordia Seminary community celebrated significant anniversary milestones of 15 faculty and staff members with a combined 200 years of service to the Seminary. The faculty and staff were recognized during a daily service in the Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus. An outdoor reception followed on Chapel Plaza.

“The Lord has given Concordia Seminary many gifts to carry out the beautiful work He has placed in our hands. After the Gospel itself, the most precious of these gifts are the faculty and staff who serve here,” Seminary President Dr. Thomas J. Egger said of the honorees. “Today, we give thanks to God for brothers and sisters who are celebrating milestone anniversaries. May the name of Jesus continue to be glorified in their lives and their labors!”

After the names of the honored faculty and staff were read, the congregation gave a round of applause.
