Former Preachers basketball players, coaches and managers are invited reminisce, share memories and celebrate the 75-year legacy of the Pederson Field House at a multiday special anniversary celebration set for Feb. 20-22, 2025, on the campus of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. Registration is now open.

“This 75th anniversary is an exciting time for former Preacher basketball players to reconnect with teammates whose ministry has taken them across the country and around the world. As the pictures in the hallways remind everyone who visits, deep and meaningful relationships were forged in this field house,” said Dr. Peter Nafzger, associate professor of Practical Theology and Preachers Basketball coach. “Opportunities to gather and reminisce like this don’t come along very often. We’re hoping that many former players, coaches and managers will come together once again in this special place!”

The three-day event will include:

• Opening dinner banquet and program
• Special Prof ‘n Stein with a tailgate-style party
• Worship together in the Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus
• Presentation:  “Basketball — Psalms — and the Importance of Play” with Dr. Tim Saleska
• Alumni basketball games and recognition of former basketball players, coaches and managers

Those who are interested in celebrating the 75^th anniversary of the Pederson Field House are invited to watch a video to learn more about the event. Registration closes Feb. 6.  Sponsorship opportunities, including a special matching gift opportunity, are available for those who wish to financially support the event.

A limited number of hotel rooms may be reserved online at the nearby Cheshire Hotel with a special group rate of $125 per night, available through Feb.6.
