Ordination annivesaries

The significant ordination and commissioning anniversaries of four faculty and five emeriti faculty were recognized Dec. 4 in the Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. In total, the honored current and emeriti faculty have served the church collectively 390 years.

In his remarks, President Dr. Thomas J. Egger expressed heartfelt gratitude to the honored men, saying, “We rejoice in reflecting back over these many years that these servants of Christ have invested themselves, by God’s grace, into the lives of others — bringing this precious Gospel to many places, to many homes and to many lives, including their service here at Concordia Seminary.”

A reception followed the chapel service to offer further thanks to the faculty for their devoted service to the church.
