Green & Gold Day set for April 8
One-day event will explore what Concordia Seminary has to offer
Concordia Seminary, St. Louis will host the final Green & Gold Day visitation event for prospective students for this academic year Friday, April 8.
Green & Gold Days are one-day events for college students considering pastoral or deaconess ministry. Guests will attend classes, worship in chapel, visit with students and speak with faculty members, all with the goal of gaining a better understanding of what the formation experience is like at Concordia Seminary.
“Being here for a day-in-the-life at Concordia Seminary is key,” said Rev. Bill Wrede, director of ministerial recruitment and admissions. “Is this the right time and place for you?”
There is no registration fee to attend Green & Gold Days. Housing is available on campus and all meals are provided free of charge.
For the 2016-17 academic year, Green & Gold Days will be held Nov. 4, Jan. 6, April 7 and Nov. 3, 2017.
The Seminary’s annual visitation events give participants valuable information about formation for pastoral and diaconal ministry. There is something for everyone including events for prospective students who are in high school, college or are considering ministry as a second career, as well as events for prospective Seminary families.
