“The Concordia Seminary campus is stunned at the loss of such a beloved and valued member of our community,” commented Rev. Glen Thomas, special assistant to the president. “At the same time, we do not grieve as those who have no hope. We look forward to a far better day that will include an eternal reunion with Mary Ann and all who share in Christ’s victory over sin, death and the grave.”
Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Gene, her son, Nathan, and her mother, Harriet Bridgewater (also a former employee of Concordia Seminary). She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Amanda.
