‘Next Steps’ online event set for July 11
Event for prospective students, families
Prospective students and their families are invited to learn more about Concordia Seminary, St. Louis during the Next Steps visitation event, set for 2–4 p.m. (CDT) Saturday, July 11. Due to concerns about the coronavirus pandemic, the event will be held online.
Designed for prospective pastoral and diaconal students who are married or who are engaged and will be married when they come to the Seminary, the event will give participants valuable information about the application process, financial aid and housing. The event also will include a panel discussion with current students and their spouses who will answer questions and provide information about campus life, local schools and transitioning to the Seminary.
“For many prospective students, the first step is to prayerfully consider if God is calling them to a full-time vocation in ministry,” says Rev. Bill Wrede, director of Ministerial Admissions. “The next step is to check out the Seminary to learn more about possibilities and ask a lot of questions. A key element and a much appreciated part of our time together during this event will be hearing from current students and their spouses about what it was like for them to move to St. Louis and how things are going for them a year into their time at Concordia Seminary.”
The registration deadline for this free event is July 9. Learn more and register at csl.edu/nextsteps. For more information, contact Ministerial Admissions at [email protected] or 800-822-9545.
