Description

The 2022 Faith and Film Festival has been canceled. The next festival is set for Jan. 26-28, 2023. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing you at next year’s event!

Concordia Seminary’s annual Faith and Film Festival is a gathering to screen and ponder Christian themes in contemporary cinema. Geared toward people interested in film and theology, the festival serves as an opportunity for participants to explore Christian themes in movies and develop eyes to see film in new ways.

Throughout the festival, participants will attend plenary auditorium screenings, as well as breakout sessions where attendees will have an option to choose up to three films, each with their own discussion moderator.

Highlights include:

  • Eight films to select from for three breakout screenings and discussion
  • Three auditorium feature films to be revealed at the festival
  • Virtual keynote speaker Dr. Joel Mayward, film critic
