Dr. Laura Ellis, organ and carillon
Enjoy a two-part organ and carillon performance at 3 p.m. (CDT) Sunday, May 8, by acclaimed artist Dr. Laura Ellis, professor and associate school director in the School of Music at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Fla. The concert will begin in the Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus and will move to the grounds outside of Luther Tower. This premier concert is part of the annual Concordia Seminary Concert Series and is free and open to the public.
The annual Concordia Seminary Concert Series celebrates and proclaims our faith through the gift of music, featuring Seminary choirs and musicians, as well as visiting chorale groups and performers of the highest acclaim. The series includes Premier Events, a Hymn Festival Series, After Chapel Concerts and Summer Carillon Concerts.
