Concordia Seminary Music Series
The annual series celebrates and proclaims our faith through the gift of music, featuring Seminary choirs and musicians, as well as visiting chorale groups and performers of the highest acclaim.

Concordia Seminary is host to a variety of musical and cultural activities throughout the year. Through worship services and concerts, our musicians and ensembles serve not only the Seminary community, but the greater St. Louis community, the global church and performance venues around the world.

Laudamus is the premier choir at Concordia Seminary, performing an eclectic mix of the finest choral literature from a variety of musical genres.
During our daily chapel services, instrumentalists and choral groups help lead the Seminary community in musical expressions of our faith.
The Pamela Ann Prevallet Hymn Writing Competition exists to encourage church music and liturgical music excellence.
Between 1993 and 2017, the American Kantorei, the performing group of Bach at the Sem, presented more than 100 concerts of the music of premier Lutheran composer Johann Sebastian Bach, as well as music of Schütz, Buxtehude, Mendelssohn and other Lutheran composers.
